Piccadilly line suspended between South Harrow and Uxbridge after signal failure
A signal failure at Rayners Lane on Thursday knocked out the Piccadilly line between South Harrow and Uxbridge entirely for a spell that evening, with London Buses accepting tickets via any reasonable route. Service through Finsbury Park and Turnpike Lane itself ran fine throughout — this was a west-end-of-the-line problem that degraded from minor delays to severe delays to part suspension over the course of the evening before clearing. Victoria line hit by severe delays most of Thursday after Brixton track fault
A track fault at Brixton caused delays on the Victoria line for much of Thursday, starting as minor disruption from infrastructure damage in the early morning and escalating to severe delays by midday. Tickets were being accepted on buses and several National Rail operators as alternatives; the line was back to normal by Friday. SOURCE →
