Haringey's year as London Borough of Culture, which starts in May 2027, will run under the name "Proudly Haringey". The council launched the branding on 27 October, with a website at proudlyharingey.com and a newsletter for anyone who wants to get involved.

The third round of Haringey Unearthed, the programme that gives residents the power to decide which creative projects happen in the borough, opens on 23 November. Winners from the first two rounds have already been announced. Anyone in Crouch End, Hornsey or Stroud Green with a creative project in mind should note the date.

A culture year is only worth having if some of it lands on the Broadway and in Priory Park, rather than only in the east of the borough. The grants round is where local groups can make sure it does.
